Our Valentines weekend

On Valentine's day weekend, we went with my in-laws to San Fransisco and Point Reyes. I will have to post the other pictures later... Parker stole them so they are on his computer. Here is San Fransisco. We went to the Exploratorium. It was so Fun!

This is a mirror that meshes two faces together. I wish it could take a better picture because it looked really cool so that's Parker and My father in law Brent.

And of course the piers. We came and hung out for a little while.

The first day we went to Point Reyes. It was really beautiful. Great weekend vacation!

Finally Wicked pictures

This last year I got the coolest present... Wicked Tickets in San Fransisco! Mom ad I decided to go on a little adventure and take the BART into town. I had never been on a train and I don't think she had either. So here is us on the train. Oh and we thought we would be walking everwhere trying o find the theater. Well, we stepped off the train and the theater was right in front of us. It couldn't have been more perfect.

The tunnel behind me was the train and there is the theater. Notice I wore Wicked colors?
The Orphium Theater was really beautiful. Mom snuck some pictures although it was prohibited. Mom and her bad self.

Along the theater there were huge pictures from the play. we tried to get better pictures but there were a lot of people in the way.
Here is the beautiful wood carved ceiling....
And here is the stage. ... AWESOME!
Afterward we went to dinner and had dessert first! It was so very yummy! Thanks mom for a wicked awesome day!

His Hands

This Valentines day I want to really remember to reflect on the love the Savior gives. I can't imagine how he could love me enough to suffer and die for me. He also loved me enough to give me a perfect example of how to live my life that I can receive all the joy this life has to offer. The answer is to give love through service and forgiveness. I recently have been dealing with a very angry unhappy person  and I stopped to think why she was like that and I thought she has no idea the joy of serving others. When we stop to think of others and to lift others burdens, you cant help but be a better, happier person. I am so grateful for the Savior and  for His gentleness and kindness. There is a song that I love called "His Hands" written by Kenneth Cope. It's one that most have heard quite a bit but the words touch me every time I hear it.

"His hands
tools of creation
stronger than nations
power without end
and yet through them we find our truest friend
His hands
sermons of kindness
healing men's blindness
halting years of pain
children waiting to be held again
His hands would serve his whole life though
showing man what hands might do
giving, ever giving, endlessly
each day was filled with selflessness
and I'll not rest until I make up my hands what they could be
'til these hands become like those from Galilee."

If you have a minute, watch the music video below. I love the footage of the "Savior". It is beautiful to watch.

" And though I'm not yet as I should be, He has shown me how I could be. I will make my hands like those from Galilee."

Happy Valentine's Day!

The Office board game

The Office is our Favorite show and so we bought the trivia game knowing that we would know everything. We are a little surprised that there are a few things we don't know. Its a dvd game narrated by Toby...pretty funny. If any thinks they can take us on we love to play!

Its an awesome game and it was a fun night. Schrute buck anyone?
